I didn’t set out to become a cinematographer at first, but somewhere between standing in front of the  camera and staying up all night visualizing projects, I realized this wasn’t just a hunch. It was a language I wanted to speak fluently.

I’m David Allen, and I tell stories through motion and light. Every project is a new puzzle, a new emotion to chase, a new world to build—whether it’s a dramatic short film, an atmospheric documentary, or a branded commercial piece with heart. I believe cinematography is more than just making things look good; it’s about making people feel something.

I’ve spent some time behind the lens, learning how to listen, how to lead, and how to let the visuals breathe. My style lives at the intersection of mood and meaning, where framing, texture, and timing align to amplify the story. Collaboration fuels me. So does coffee, , and finding beauty in the unexpected.
